Cervical dissociation in an Egyptian mummy. The CT scan of ANSP 1903.1a (AMSC-4,
a.k.a "Annie") revealed a drastically rotated atlas and axis (1st and 2nd cervical vertebrae). The severity of this
dismorphia is highly unusual in an otherwise intact human mummy and suggests the possibility of post-mortem disruption
of the body prior to performance of mummification. Annie's mummy is now the subject of a report published in RadioGraphics
